Shopping: Belek is ideally placed as the nearest resort to

the airport and also the city of Antalya, the capital of the

region, a great place to shop. For those in to fashion try

the bazaars in nearby Kadriye.

Activities: Belek's 16 kilometres of pale sand and shingle

beaches are ideal for swimming. There are watersports

to suit the keenest water babies as well as pedalos for

those who prefer to just dip in their toes! For the local

interest there are cultural sites to visit throughout the

area, including Antalya and nearby Side, which are both

rich in ancient history. The wonders of nature are on the

doorstep too, as Belek is surrounded by fragrant pine

forests and eucalyptus groves. It's a tranquil resort, with

abundant wildlife and bright splashes of flowers, and the

craggy Taurus mountains forming the backdrop to the

rolling hills all around.

Restaurants: There are a few bars and restaurants two

kilometres away but you'll probably decide to choose

from one of the excellent hotel restaurants, where you

won't be disappointed if you were hoping to introduce

your tastebuds to the delights of Turkish cuisine.  

Nightlife: Guests mostly remain within the hotels during the

evenings, taking advantage of their excellent facilities.

This is a tranquil resort and not one to choose if you are a

night owl.
